ACDA Conducts Key Survey to Improve Career Guidance in Albania
The Albania Career Development Association (ACDA), with support from RisiAlbania (a project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation), has conducted a thorough Satisfaction Survey on career guidance services provided by the University of Tirana, Polytechnic University of Tirana, Agricultural University of Tirana, Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës, and the Career Counseling Office at the Municipality of Tirana.
Led by ACDA experts Xhafer Rakipllari and Nives Lamce, the project employed a detailed survey methodology that combined qualitative and quantitative methods. This approach included online questionnaires, face-to-face meetings, and focused group discussions to collect a broad range of data from the target groups.
The insights from this survey will help the partner institutions improve their strategies and enhance the support they offer to career guidance users, including students, pupils, and mid-career professionals.
Xhafer Rakipllari, the lead expert from ACDA for this study, highlighted the significance of the initiative: “Our collaboration with RisiAlbania and the participating institutions demonstrates our commitment to creating a supportive environment for career development. The comprehensive nature of this survey allows us to gather valuable insights to shape the future of career guidance services in Albania. We are dedicated to providing career counselors with the tools and resources needed to effectively support students and professionals.”
